#HarryPotter20: 5 ‘Harry Potter’ Shows We Want on TV Now

Twenty years ago today, the first Harry Potter book was published. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, known in the U.S. as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, spawned a slew of sequels and film adaptations, and even a theme park!

But the one thing that hasn’t come out of the books yet is a TV show. So we put together a list of the top five TV shows based on the Harry Potter books that we’d like to see right now.

We’re pretty sure that no one in Hollywood is going to take any of our pitches for these potential series, but one thing is for certain: We’re way overdue for an official Harry Potter TV series.
