Fisher-Price recalls over 200,000 Little People toys over choking hazard

(WHTM) – Fisher-Price is recalling its Little People Mickey and Friends Figures due to a choking hazard involving the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the heads of the Donald and Daisy Duck figures can detach, possibly leading to children choking on the pieces.

The recall affects about 204,000 units in the U.S. and about 11,000 in Canada.

According to the CPSC, there have no been injuries linked to the recalled items, though there have been reports of the heads detaching, with one finding its way into “the mouth of a young child.”

The recall, which includes the models HPJ88 and HTW75, only affects the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures in the pack.
