First responders recover missing person from Mountain Island Lake
Crews recovered a missing person who disappeared on Mountain Island Lake Tuesday evening, Huntersville Fire said.

The search was concentrated around an area near the former Latta Plantation.

Mount Holly Fire, Charlotte Fire, and MEDIC helped in the search and recovery.

We are waiting for more information from officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, who are heading the investigation.
