First Responder Friday: Daniel Formato

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — It’s time for another edition of First Responder Friday as News13 honors Grand Strand and Pee Dee first responders.

This week’s nominee is Pfc. Daniel Formato with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Formato started his career in 2021. Once he was hired by MBPD, colleagues say his focus was steadfast. He’s seen by his supervisors as the future of the department.

Formato takes all available classes offered to better himself and prepare for his future. He also takes each call seriously and works it to completion.

When he encounters something new, he reaches out to those with more experience in order to learn and to be able to provide better service for a future call of this type.

Overall, those who work with him see the potential he has and look forward to him advancing within this agency.

If you would like to nominate someone for First Responder Friday, send an email to NEWS@WBTW.COM. Tell us why you chose that person and attach a photo.
