The White House is officially getting in the holiday spirit with the release of their annual Christmas card!

This year's holiday shot was released on Thursday night, featuring President Trump and Melania posing in the White House's Cross Hall. The hall is decorated with snow-dusted Christmas trees, a silver holiday banner and an American and presidential flag.

While many were quick to notice Barron was unfortunately missing from the presidential photo opp, our eyes were on the first lady's outfit. For the photo, the 47-year-old FLOTUS sparkled in a black cocktail gown. The dazzling black sleeveless and tea-length fitted ensemble featured intricate beading starting at the neckline.

To accessorize the look, Melania sported Christian Louboutin black pointed stilettos, her trusty blowout and a sleek smoky eye. Her husband stands next to her in an elegantly fitted tuxedo, holding her hand. The photo was taken on December 5th by photographer Andrea Hanks.

Though this dress is quite understated and elegant, Melania hasn't shied away from wearing bold designs since taking up her position in the White House. On the Trump's 12-day tour of Asia, Melania sported a mauve, avant-garde coat while arriving in Seoul, South Korea.
