First lady Jill Biden to speak at Grand Rapids luncheon

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — First lady Jill Biden is set to visit Grand Rapids later this month.

She will speak at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation’s annual First Ladies Luncheon on April 26. The foundation says Biden will be the event’s first keynote speaker who is a sitting first lady.

Previous events have featured Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barbara Bush and Laura Bush, organizers say.

This year’s luncheon will run from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. To learn more or get a ticket, click here.
