First 2017 Honda (Acura) NSX rolls off the production line

Honda may have taken its own sweet time to come up with the all-new 2017 NSX, but the fact is that the first ever production car has finally been unleashed. The car, sold as the Acura NSX in the US, recently rolled off the assembly line at Honda’s performance manufacturing center in Marysville, Ohio.
The first production NSX is finished in red with lots of carbon fibre bits including the roof, the rear spoiler and engine cover. The car was in the news earlier this year after selling for a whopping $ 1.2 million in an auction.
The owner is a certain Rick Hendrick who previously managed to buy the first 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe, first 2012 Camaro ZL1 and the last ever BMW M5 “30 Jahre”.
As a reminder, the 2017 Honda NSX is the highly awaited successor to the iconic original NSX. This new model develops 573bhp from its petrol V6-electric hybrid set up and hits 0-100kmph in around three seconds and maxes out at 307kmph.
