‘Fireworks on the Riverfront’ returns to the Hill City with music, food, activities, and more

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Summer is just around the corner and Hill City is getting ready to light the night sky with its free annual Fireworks on the Riverfront.

On July 5, Downtown Lynchburg is inviting the community to Riverfront Park for the 4th annual Fireworks on the Riverfront. Starting at 6 p.m., the event features music, food, activities, and more. The fireworks show will then begin around 9:15 p.m.

Due to construction on the amphitheater and throughout the park, event organizers said only half of the park will be available. Therefore, the park will use the adjacent Riverfront parking lot.

The main event and stage will be located within Riverfront Park, with two food truck zones in Depot Grove and Jefferson Street.
