Officials said crews with Clarksville Fire Rescue had to run hoses across Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, which led to a portion of it being shut down to traffic in both directions between Dunbar Cave Road and Old Trenton Road.

Motorists were asked to find alternate routes as firefighters — including off-duty personnel who were called in to help — worked to extinguish the blaze. Just before 6:45 p.m., police announced Wilma Rudolph Boulevard was back open.
