Fire at Fremont Tesla factory knocked down
(KRON) — The Fremont Fire Department knocked down a fire at the Tesla Factory on Monday evening, FPD said on social media.
The two-alarm fire started in an oven at the facility, which is located at 45500 Fremont Blvd.
There have been no reports of injuries, and Tesla told FFD that all of its employees have been accounted for. Firefighters were released from the scene before 8 p.m., FFD said.
No other information was immediately available.
The fire is the second newsworthy occurrence at the factory in the past seven days. On May 20, several cars at the Tesla factory had their tires slashed.
