Fire breaks out at Mykolaiv Oblast cultural center after being hit by Russian suicide drone

Russia targeted a former cultural center in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast in a Shahed drone strike, partially destroying the building, Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration head, Vitaliy Kim, reported on Telegram.

A 200 square-meter fire broke out at the impact site, though firefighters have since extinguished the blaze.

No casualties have been reported.

An air alert was announced in several Ukrainian oblasts due to Russia's latest attack overnight on May 9.

Air defense worked in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The Air Force destroyed 17 of the 20 Russian drones.
