Finland provides Ukraine with new military aid package

Finland has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine – the 23rd provided by their government.

Details: The agreement states that simultaneously with the signing of the agreement on security cooperation and long-term support, Finland is announcing the provision of its 23rd aid package, worth €188 million.

The contents of the package have not been disclosed. However, it is noted that the total value of military support Finland has provided to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war is approaching €2 billion.

"With Finland’s €30 million contribution to the Czech initiative of Joint Procurement of Artillery Ammunition to Ukraine, Finland’s support to Ukraine in 2024 already exceeds €400 million and will increase with at least two further packages in the course of the year," the agreement says.

According to the agreement, Finland plans to provide at least two more aid packages to Ukraine this year.
