The city began strategizing to fill this position last spring. They reviewed proposals from 4 firms and City Council, in a 4 to 3 vote selected consulting firm Raftelis to help them launch a nationwide search to find a permanent candidate.

Both interim candidates may also apply for the permanent position. No date has yet been set to finalize and hire a candidate.
