The City of Foley will close at noon on Thursday to allow city employees an opportunity to pay their respects to the man who dedicated half his life to shaping the future of the place he called home.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church before his funeral service. Following those services, a 5-mile-long procession will leave the church and follow East Berry Avenue to North Poplar Street passing by Vulcan where he spent most of his professional life.
