BP PLC fell $.57 or 1.4 percent, to $41.19.
Chevron fell $1.03 or 1.0 percent, to $104.66.
ConocoPhillips rose $.23 or .4 percent, to $57.17.
Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.53 or .6 percent, to $87.61.
Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.05 or .2 percent, to $30.80.
