- Canadian ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir capped their successful return this season with a third gold at the world figure skating championships. The 2010 Olympic champions held on despite 29-year-old Moir stumbling during the free dance final to add to their world titles in 2010 and 2012. Two-time holders Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron of France had to settle for silver despite scoring highest in the free dance. American brother and sister Alex and Maia Shibutani took bronze at Helsinki's Hartwall Arena. Virtue and Moir -- who led by 5.5 points after Friday's short dance -- scored an overall total of 198.62 with the French achieving 196.04.
