FHP: Fort Walton Beach man crashes into front window of Navarre Waffle House

A 74-year-old Fort Walton Beach man may have had a medical incident when he crashed into a Navarre Waffle House Wednesday afternoon.

Florida Highway Patrol responded to the Waffle House at 8582 Navarre Parkway after the man drove his sedan through the front glass window of the restaurant.

"A 74-year-old while male was traveling north in the parking lot of Waffle House," an FHP report said. "He drove his vehicle over the curb and into the glass front window of the building."

FHP said the man's daughter arrived on scene and said there may be "something medical wrong with him," but EMS cleared the driver.

No further information was released, and FHP did not report any injuries.
