A few more showers and storms before we start to clear out

What We’re Tracking

  • Showers & storms tonight

  • Drying for for late week

  • Getting hot this weekend

Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 50s to near 60° tonight. Mainly just some passing showers, but a couple stronger storms could still develop early in the night for the southern counties. Wind and hail would be the main threats for any well-developed storm.

The good news is that we should clear out as the weekend approaches, possibly even earlier. After a few showers early Thursday, we should see some partial clearing with highs in the middle 70s for Thursday.

As the systems clear the region, we get mostly sunshine from Friday through at least Sunday with highs in the middle to upper 80s by the upcoming weekend with wind becoming more southerly and picking up a bit over the weekend, as well. This will gradually draw up higher humidity into the area and set the stage for some stronger storms early next week.
