Will Ferrell crashes on-court interview with Roger Federer and asks all the hard-hitting questions

Everyone's favorite anchorman is back.

Well, kind of. To the delight of many tennis fans, Will Ferrell reprised his famous role on the courts of the Australian Open on Sunday.

John McEnroe was doing an on-court interview with Roger Federer when he stopped to introduce an important guest. Ferrell then strode across the court to cheers and immediately channelled his character from Anchorman.

"In the immortal words of Ron Burgundy, it's great to be here with two tennis legends—Roger Federer and John Macintosh," Ferrell joked, intentionally butchering McEnroe's name.

"Roger, tonight you seemed like a gazelle out on the court. Would you describe your game as a silky gazelle?" Ferrell asked. Turns out, Federer can hold his ground against a seasoned journalist like Ferrell.

"Maybe, maybe not. Don't they get eaten at the end?" Federer said.

Things just got weirder from there. "Are you a witch or vampire?" and "Have you ever tasted wombat meat?" are just a few of the questions Ferrell lobbed his way. Federer handled it like a pro, to the delight of many.

Ferrell, joined by Molly Shannon, also recently hosted Rose Bowl coverage for Amazon Prime in a hilarious bit that not everyone understood. Despite that, our fingers are crossed that Ferrell keeps it up and we'll see him at this year's winter Olympic games.
