Adam Driver's hit film Ferrari has confirmed its Sky Cinema release date.

The sporting drama will be available to watch from Friday, March 1, 2024 on Sky Cinema and NOW. If you don't have a Sky Stream subscription, now may be a good time to review your options as some prices will soon be changing.

Legendary director Michael Mann's latest film originally hit UK cinemas in December, after having its world premiere at last year's 80th annual Venice International Film Festival.

Star Wars' Adam Driver delivers a transformative performance in the film as racing driver-turned-motoring pioneer Enzo Ferrari at a particularly pivotal point in the automotive industry.

The film takes place in the run-up to the 1957 Mille Miglia, as Enzo tries to save his ailing racing division, Scuderia Ferrari, by competing against the industry leaders of this time.

Ferrari also includes notable performances from Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz as Enzo's wife Laura Dominica Garello and Shailene Woodley as his mistress Lina Lardi.

Skins' Jack O'Connell appears as legendary British racing driver Peter Collins, while former Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey plays Italian driver Piero Taruffi.

Mann adapted the film from motorsport journalist Brock Yates's acclaimed 1991 biography Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Cars, the Races, the Machine.

The screenwriter, Troy Kennedy Martin, actually died in 2009 but had been developing the script as a passion project for Mann at the time of his death.

Martin's long and esteemed career included writing the original script for a classic motoring drama — 1969's The Italian Job. Other notable credits include The Sweeney and Edge of Darkness on TV, as well as the Clint Eastwood heist comedy Kelly's Heroes and co-writing Arnold Schwarzenegger's buddy cop comedy Red Heat.

Ferrari is also available to rent or buy on Prime Video in the US.
