Ferne McCann took two-week-old Sunday to visit acid attack dad Arthur Collins in prison with defiant message

Ferne McCann has revealed that she took her two-week-old daughter, Sunday, to visit her acid-attack father Arthur Collins in prison, allowing the 25-year-old criminal to meet his newborn for the first and final time.

Earlier this month Arthur was found guilty of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, and nine counts of actual bodily harm against 14 people, with more than a dozen revellers left with life-changing injuries following the attack in Mangle nightclub in Hackney, East London on 17 April.

Arthur is currently in a Category A Belmarsh prison in South London as he awaits sentencing on 19 December, and Ferne held her daughter close as she made the brave visit.

Speaking to The Mirror, Ferne said: “I went to see Arthur and I took Sunday with me. This was because I am very angry about what has happened and I needed to communicate that and wanted to hear what Arthur had to say.

“I thought it was important that Arthur see Sunday and see exactly what his actions have led to him missing out on.

“It was a difficult decision to take Sunday into that environment but I felt I needed to confront him about a number of things, which I have now done.”

A source added to the publication: “Ferne was very, very angry, she was absolutely furious and gave Arthur a piece of her own mind.

“She showed him his child and said that he would never see her again. That he had caused so much pain and that he was missing out on a life with baby Sunday. It was a heartbreaking meeting but Ferne needed to get closure.”

Ferne and Arthur first met in Ibiza last year, having an on/off relationship before officially getting together in March this year.

The reality star had told Arthur that she was pregnant with his child just before the devastating acid attack took place, with Arthur previously confessing to throwing the liquid – insisting that he did not know that it was acid, instead believing that it was a date-rape drug.

Ferne immediately disassociated herself from Arthur following the attack and released a statement supporting the victims following his arrest and also after he was found guilty of the attack.
