Feminist Activists and Istanbul Police Face Off on International Women's Day

Police blocked roads and deployed pepper spray as protesters took part in a “Feminist Night March” on March 8, International Women’s Day, in Istanbul, Turkey, local media reported.

The march attracted “tens of thousands”, local media reported.
