CHICAGO (AP) -- The Female Health Co., which makes female condoms, said Wednesday that it has lifted its quarterly dividend by a penny, to 7 cents.
That's a 17 percent increase in the Chicago company's payout. The dividend will be paid on May 8 to shareholders of record as of May 1.
Female Health shares added 2 cents to $6.80 in morning trading. The stock is up nearly 20 percent in the past 12 months. In the fiscal year that ended in September, profit nearly tripled, to $15.3 million, while revenue increased 89 percent.
