Feds: Landings, takeoffs resume in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A federal agency says landings and takeoffs have resumed at Los Angeles-area airports after technical problems.

The Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday that service had resumed after flights from the region had been grounded for about 90 minutes amid the problems at an air traffic control facility.

The problems had rippled across the West, with planes also temporarily kept from heading into the Los Angeles area.
