Federal indictment accuses 2 Bakersfield residents of taking pictures of child's sexual abuse
Jun. 30—A federal grand jury returned an indictment against two Bakersfield residents who were charged with taking photos of a child's sexual exploitation and then distributing the pictures, U.S. Attorney's Office of the Eastern District said Friday.
Roy Richard Truitt III, 40, and Louise Lowe, 46, are accused of sexually exploiting a minor, taking pictures of the crime and giving them to others, a news release added. It stated Truitt allegedly distributed child porn on the internet.
Truitt and Lowe are charged with sexually exploiting a minor and conspiracy. Lowe also faces a charge of distributing child pornography and Truitt faces a charge of receiving and distributing child porn, a news release said.
The federal grand jury returned the indictment Thursday.
