Fearless Australian dude throws himself into a hole to catch a massive mud crab

Look, not all Australians are like Steve Irwin.

But there seems to be a higher proportion of people Down Under seemingly cut from the same cloth as the late crocodile hunter. 

As in the case of the very brazen Beau Greaves, who lives in remote Queensland and has no chill launching himself into a hole to fetch a huge mud crab.

It doesn't come without risks: "Been bitten twice, nearly lost a finger and been close to having my wrist crushed, but I guess the more you do it the better you get at it," he explains in a Facebook post. 

Lo and behold, Greaves gets his catch, and it's further proof that Australians are really as wild as you think they are.
