Fayetteville man pleads not guilty to murder charge
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Fayetteville man pleaded not guilty to a murder charge on Friday, according to Washington County prosecutor Matt Durrett.
Zachary Clark, 32, was arrested on Feb. 7 on a second-degree murder charge and tampering with physical evidence charge.
Fayetteville police responded to a shooting call at a home on the 3100 block of East Huntsville Road just after 1 p.m., according to a post on X.

Once on scene, FPD learned Clark had shot a man on his property “sometime in the days prior,” the post said.
Thomas McEaneny, 23, was found dead on the property, according to investigators.
Durrett says the trial date for Clark is set for Oct. 14.
