Fayetteville among cities with most bicycle-friendly businesses

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville is among the top cities to have the most bicycle-friendly businesses in the United States, according to the League of American Bicyclists.

Fayetteville has 54 bicycle-friendly businesses, the third-most of any city in the country behind Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida.

Five Fayetteville businesses were added to the League of American Bicyclists’ list in 2023:

  • Flyway Brewing

  • Onyx Coffee Lab

  • The Hip Cafe

  • Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom

Of 1,480 bicycle-friendly businesses in the country, just 87 of them are in Arkansas with 18 in Bentonville, seven in Rogers, Little Rock and North Little Rock with three and Springdale with one.
