Fayette County Commission plans April 16 meeting

Apr. 15—The agenda for the Tuesday, April 16, meeting of the Fayette County Commission in Fayetteville will include the laying of the levy at 9:05 a.m.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m.

Via County Administrator Ruth Lanier beginning at about 9:10 a.m., there will be discussion and commission decision on a variety of issues, including WV Corp renewal, a contract with Greenbrier Environmental Group Inc., Brownfields Projects, 911 additional equipment, establishing line item and funds for disasters, letters to the DOH (regarding High Circle Drive) and to the Nicholas County Commission, request to re-bid annex roof project, and request for REAP funds (David Hylton).

Assessor Eddie Young will be on hand to discuss exonerations, orders to combine or divide land, and refunds.

At 9:15 a.m., the Oak Hill VFD will make a budget presentation.

That will be followed by discussion and decision on approval to request bids for equipment with Josh Davis, and discussion and decision on a Democratic emergency absentee ballot commissioner.
