Fayette County candidates voice their opinions on the 2024 Primary Elections

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WVNS) – It was a competitive race in Fayette County where several seats were up for grabs on the ballot.

This included County Commission, Assessor, and even two spots open for the Board of Education. This also included the race for Sheriff.

59News had the chance to catch up with several candidates in the Fayette County races.

Poll workers help make the process smooth and easy in Fayette County

They gave their insight into their races and their thoughts on the outcome of the primary elections.

“I just want to thank the people of Fayette County. I love this county and I’ve lived here my whole life. This county has been good to me and the people have been good to me”

Both candidates says they can’t thank the people of Fayette County enough for their support.
