With more than two dozen breweries, Bucks County is attracting craft beer lovers from all over who are craving a casual spot to enjoy a tasty pint or two.

But with so many local craft breweries to choose from, what makes one stand out above the rest?

From quirky beer names and distinct flavors to picturesque views and lively entertainment — each one has created its own unique style and brand to set themselves apart.

And that’s why we’re reaching out to our readers to help us kick off our very first Battle of the Beers brewery challenge.

Inspired by the competitive spirit of March Madness, breweries will face off in a multi-round bracket-style tournament for the title of “Bucks County’s Favorite Brewery.”

How are the Bucks County breweries selected?

We’ll start with a nomination round to help narrow down the list of 26 local breweries to 16 finalists.

Using those results, we’ll put together a March Madness-style bracket with seedings based on the number of votes received. Each week, we’ll introduce a new round, as some breweries advance, and others fall off the bracket.

What is the voting schedule?

Be sure to return each week to cast your ballot. The winner will be announced April 8.

  • Nominations: March 4-7

  • Sweet 16: March 11-14

  • Elite Eight: March 18-21

  • Final Four: March 25-28

  • Championship: April 1-4
