Fatal Crash in Trempealeau County: Name revealed

TOWN OF SUMNER, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Authorities are naming the person who died in a single-vehicle Trempealeau County crash Tuesday.

According to updated press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, the person is identified as 18-year-old Jadyne Kaufman of Osseo, Wis.

According to the initial press release of the crash from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, on May 14, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m. authorities received a crash alert from a cell phone.

The press release says authorities tracked the alert to the area of County Highway B, near Myhre Road in the Town of Sumner.

Authorities arrived on scene and found that the occupant in the vehicle was dead, according to the press release.
