Fatal crash that killed 2 motorcyclists under investigation, Fort Worth police say
Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal crash that killed two motorcyclists Wednesday night, officials said.
Officers responded to the 2700 block of 8th Avenue around 11 p.m. regarding a major accident. A motorcyclist lost control and collided with a vehicle, according to police. A second motorcyclist also lost control and was involved in the crash.
A MedStar spokesperson said both motorcyclists were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. They later died from their injuries, according to police.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the accident victims pending notification of next-of-kin.
The Traffic Investigation Unit is reviewing the details and cause of the accident, police said.
