Fara Fauzana announces wedding date
2 Aug – Actress, host and former radio personality Fara Fauzana has finally announced that she will be tying the knot with her other half, a man named Hafiz, this coming 17 September.
According to Fara, born Farah Fauzana Mohd Fadzil, both ceremonies – the akad nikah and the wedding reception – will be held at the same location.
"Alhamdulillah, may everything go smoothly. He and his family came to see me last February and we will wed at 9am here, followed by the wedding reception at 12pm.
"Both ceremonies will be attended by all our family and close friends," said the actress to Sinar Harian.
When asked what it is about the groom-to-be that attracted the "Girlfriend Kontrak" actress to him, Fara replied that Hafiz's characteristics, which are opposite to hers, make her feel comfortable around him.
The 36-year-old said that her future husband is very knowledgeable in religion, shy, calm, and can cook well.
Their wedding preparation is already 60 percent completed, the actress shared, and that on the wedding day itself, she will be donning a bridal dress designed by Rizalman.
Fara has yet to discuss her career plans after getting married, though admits that she has no qualms about continuing her work in the entertainment industry.
