Throw the book at Morgan Wallen for his reckless behavior

Re: “Stop deifying Morgan Wallen and excusing downtown Nashville’s excesses,” by Kevin Warner, The Tennessean, May 9.

Thank you so much, Kevin, for writing this letter. You share my sentiments exactly.

I’m 50 years old and I think the newer generations today don’t give a care about morality the way people used to.

So much violence and so forth can be seen on social media these days on a daily basis that a lot of people it seems, are becoming immune to it.

I understand this was a heavy chair that was thrown and could have done a lot of serious damage to someone.

Thankfully, a child didn’t run out into its path.

When he goes to court I hope they throw the book at him, no pun intended.

Counterpoint: As a diehard Morgan Wallen fan, haters should leave him alone and let him do what he wants

Wallen should not be rewarded for his antics

I enjoy Morgan Walden’s music very much but have judged him not reliable as a human being.

After the scandal and backlash over his drunken use of a racist term, you’d think he had learned that if he’s not careful he could ruin his own career and life.

He needs help.

This country singer is a menace

I agree with Kevin Warner. Why do some artists feel entitled?

Morgan Wallen should have been thrown in jail.

I will never watch or attend his concerts.

Let’s stop celebrating this artist

I am in complete agreement with the article by Kevin Warner.

Stop praising, promoting and ignoring aberrant behavior(s) of Morgan Wallen.

He is consistently demonstrating poor and dangerous judgement that borders on pathological dysfunction.

It is shameful to celebrate him in any way.
