Fans can't get enough of Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford's friendship

Star Wars fans celebrated along with Mark Hamill yesterday as the actor received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hundreds of people showed up to support Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, as he received the honor.

Alongside the actor was his longtime co-star and friend Harrison Ford. Ford provided a lovely introduction, poking fun at Hamill by claiming that the crowd for his own Hollywood Walk of Fame moment, back in 2003, was much larger than Hamill’s. “I’m happy for you, pal,” Harrison lovingly told Hamill as he introduced the man of the hour.

Fans were able to see how much admiration these two friends have for each other, and of course took to social media to spread the love.

While the event was a happy moment for Hamill and Ford, the ceremony was clouded by the absence of Carrie Fisher, who passed away in 2016. Ford honored their co-star and friend’s memory, saying. “I’m really sorry we don’t have the other member of our trio here to celebrate with us. But I feel her presence.”

Star Wars fans lost it, sharing their emotions on social media.
