Famous southern fast food joint set to open in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A restaurant known for cheap but beloved fast food is in the talks to open in Dothan.

Rumors that Cook Out would come to Dothan began circulating on social media after the company added the Circle City to its “Coming Soon!” restaurant location list.

The company’s website shows the new location as 3354 Montgomery Highway, in the old Popeye’s in front of Wiregrass Commons Mall.

WDHN has reached out to a company spokesperson for an exact opening date.

Dothan’s Cook Out will be the twelfth location in Alabama, with three other locations set to open this year.

Cook Out is known for its affordable burgers, chicken, hot dogs, shakes, and other fast food items.
