Family-run bakery named the best in New York, according to Yelp’s ‘Elite Squad’

(NEXSTAR) – Where do Yelp’s “Elite” members go when they get a hankering for doughy treats and refined sugars?

If they’re in New York, they just might head over to Bibble & Sip, according to the review website.

Yelp has recently compiled a list of the best bakeries in every state based on the ratings of its “Elite Squad” — a group of users who have demonstrated a knack for going “above and beyond” with their reviews and photos — and Bibble & Sip apparently takes the cake in New York.

“If you want to grab cute pastries that impress, this is the place to go!” shared one Yelp “Elite” reviewer. “They always switch it up seasonally and you can tell that they take a lot of pride and care in their products.”

Bibble & Sip, a family-run business located in the Theater District of New York City, serves gourmet coffee, espresso, and pastries. Their baked goods are inspired by Asian flavors and range from buttery croissants to matcha-filled cream puffs.

In particular, the Yelp “Elite” raved about the various cream puffs. “I love all their cream puffs from the Matcha flavor, Earl Grey and their Black Sesame is amazing as well. When I’m around the neighborhood, I always stop by and pick up a cream puff,” said a reviewer.
