Falls house struck by gunfire Sunday night
May 13—No one was injured after a house was struck by gunfire on Linwood Avenue late Sunday night.
Around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, a Niagara Falls police officer reported hearing gunfire while on patrol and asked dispatch if anyone had called in. Dispatch advised they were actively taking multiple calls for shots fired in the area of 13th Street and Linwood Avenue.
Officers responded to the area and located a house that had been struck by gunfire. At least three bullet holes were observed in two windows of the home.
The incident is under investigation.
