Falls firefighters battling several fires after house explosion

May 1—Niagara Falls firefighters are battling multiple blazes sparked by an explosion in a home in the 800 block of 20th Street.

The explosion occurred around 4:50 p.m. and has lead to street closures in the immediate area.

There are multiple structures on fire on the block, according to reports from the scene.

There are no reports yet on possible injuries.
