Fallout future confirmed after season 1

Fallout will be returning for a second season.
Prime Video announced on Thursday (April 18) that the TV adaptation of the hit Bethesda games has been renewed just over one week after it premiered for subscribers (via Deadline).
Producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy announced Fallout's renewal: "Praise be to our insanely brilliant showrunners, Geneva [Robertson-Dworet] and Graham [Wagner], to our kick-ass cast, to Todd and James and all the legends at Bethesda, and to Jen, Vernon and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show. We can’t wait to blow up the world all over again."
Showrunners Robertson-Dworet and Wagner added: "Holy shit. Thank you to Jonah, [production company] Kilter, Bethesda and Amazon for having the courage to make a show that gravely tackles all of society’s most serious problems these days — cannibalism, incest, jello cake. More to come!"

Prime Video has also touted that Fallout has already become its most-watched original series since The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power and ranks in the top three most-watched seasons ever on the platform.
The series branches out from the games' mythology, being set 219 years after the near-destruction of Earth in the Great War of 2077.
Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) has spent all of her life in an underground vault in the wake of the apocalypse, but takes the very brave step to venture back to the surface.
When Digital Spy recently chatted with the Fallout cast, they were optimistic about what could happen in a potential second season.

"[The characters] get better, at some things, they take things from each other, along the journeys, even when we do have these worlds clashing, and to see where that brings them, and to see how that helps or hurts their cause," Aaron Moten (aka Maximus) told us.
"It's that development process, like 'What new weapons are there?' you know, that stuff does become really fun as an actor, to have some sort of improvement."
Fallout is available to stream now on Prime Video.
