Fall, head trauma killed Russian hiker

MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say a 20-year-old Russian man found dead in Grand Teton National Park died of blunt force trauma from a fall.

The Teton County coroner is ruling the death of Aleksandr "Sasha" Sagiev an accident.

Sagiev was a seasonal employee.

The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (http://bit.ly/1qE5Ip3 ) that officials believe he died almost immediately after hitting his head in a fall from the steep traverse.

Sagiev was reported missing Aug. 18. His body was found Aug. 22.
