Fairfield Glade man charged in child abuse case
Mar. 18—A Fairfield Glade man was arrested last week for aggravated child abuse after he was indicted by the Cumberland County Grand Jury.
On Dec. 16, 2023, Cumberland County Sheriff's Office investigators were contacted by the Tennessee Department of Children Services about a baby that had been sent to East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville for injuries.
Curtis Hood, 25, of Runnymede Rd., is accused of hurting the child. The grand jury handed down an indictment accusing Hood of aggravated child abuse. Hood was arrested on March 14.
He remains in the Cumberland County Jail under a $250,000 bond pending an April 5 court date.
