Fairfax County’s Scott’s Run Nature Preserve park to close for repairs

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County government said Scott’s Run Nature Preserve will be temporarily closed to repair wastewater pipes.

The park will close on March 28. The repairs are anticipated to take about three months.

Washington Commanders host 300 students for ‘Commanders Read’

The county government said after inspecting a wastewater collection siphon facility in the park, officials found that two of the three siphons there were not working.

While the repairs are being made, county residents are encouraged to visit other parks and trails.
