FactSet board oks dividend increase to 35 cents

FactSet board approves 4-cent increase to quarterly dividend, booting it to 35 cents

NORWALK, Conn. (AP) -- FactSet Research Systems Inc. said Tuesday that its board approved a 4-cent, or 13 percent, increase in its regular quarterly cash dividend to 35 cents.

The Norwalk, Conn.-based financial information company said the dividend will be paid on June 18 to shareholders of record as of May 31.

Also on Tuesday, FactSet said its board approved a $200 million increase to the company's existing stock buyback program. As of Feb. 28, the company said $55.5 million remained under its previous authorization.

Its shares finished at $95.87 on Monday. They have traded in a 52-week range of $86.88 to $109.20.
