The claim: Video shows Gov. Ron DeSantis calling for President Joe Biden to be impeached
USA TODAY has debunked a series of videos that feature attention-grabbing captions but actually show completely unrelated footage. One recent example purportedly shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis calling for President Joe Biden to be impeached.
"'Biden Should Be Impeached': Congress ERUPTS As DeSantis HUMILIATES Hunter Biden to his Face," reads the video's caption in an Oct. 2 Facebook post.
The video was viewed nearly 100,000 times in less than two weeks.
But the claim is false. The video shows the Republican governor criticizing the Biden administration's immigration policies, not calling for the president to be impeached.

Video shows DeSantis talking about immigration policy
The video in the social media post is composed of two clips.
The first shows DeSantis criticizing Joe Biden's immigration policies and discussing his plans to continue relocating migrants to "sanctuary cities" during a Sept. 16 press conference.
That month, DeSantis took responsibility for relocating roughly 50 migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Some of the migrants said they had been falsely told that free housing and jobs awaited them on the island.
In the clip, DeSantis also discusses the space exploration industry.
The second clip shows Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., discussing the August FBI search of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate during an Aug. 10 appearance on the Fox News show "Fox & Friends."
Neither clip shows DeSantis calling for Joe Biden to be impeached or confronting Hunter Biden, the president's son, as the video's caption claims.
