Facebook employee tweets new music sharing before its debut

After Facebook's recent changes to the news feed led to widespread complaints, users were irked at the news further changes could be on the way.

But Facebook had its own reason to be irked with its latest slate of social network enhancements.

Blown away by his companies new feature, creative director Ji Lee spilled the beans to the Twitterverse before Facebook could unveil its new music sharing at this week's F8, Complex.com reports.

The tweet, which has since been removed, revealed the basic function of Facebook's newest feature.

"The 'Listen with your friend' feature is blowing my mind," revealed Lee's tweet. "Listen to what your friends are listening. LIVE."

Details should emerge from today's F8 conference, but the music sharing feature is believed to allow users to see what their friends are listening to at that time, with the ability to simultaneously stream said music from the new right-side ticker.
