'Get the F*** Outta Here': Minneapolis Mayor Booed From Protest After Refusing to Defund Police
A crowd of protesters booed and jeered Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for refusing to defund police after gathering outside the politician’s home on June 6.
This video shows Frey being told to “get the f*** outta here” by one protest leader after he reportedly said he didn’t support defunding the Minneapolis Police Department following the death of George Floyd. Floyd died after a local officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes during an arrest on May 25.
Earlier, Frey can be heard saying that there needed to be “deep-seated, structural reform” in how the department operates.
