Explosions rang out near the Luhansk Internal Affairs Academy, where Russian occupiers are based, in temporarily occupied Luhansk on May 20, local publication Novosti Donbassa claimed.

Thick smoke rose near the village of Yuvileyne following the explosion, they claimed.

Locals alleged that the strike was carried out at the Internal Affairs Ministry Academy, Novosti Donbass claimed.

Ukraine's Defense Forces attacked the academy grounds in May 2023.

That attack hit the old building where the Russian military was stationed, injuring the so-called "acting head of the Internal Affairs Ministry" of the terrorist "LPR" organization, Igor Kornet.
