Explosions rang out in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast overight

Powerful explosions rang out in the Russian town of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast overnight on March 1, Astra Telegram channel claimed.

The causes and aftermath of the explosions are not reported.

The city is home to the state’s Ya. M. Sverdlov Plant, a municipal enterprise that is believed to play a strategic role in Russia’s Military Industrial Complex.
